For many years your webmaster ran the website of the Fylde Tramway Society in Blackpool (from his home in Hamburg, Germany). From the end of 2007 the FTS has established it’s own website and this blog was created to take over some of the content of the old site. All photos on this site are copyright proteced. Prints and duplicate slides of most of the images are available. Just email the webmaster at lfr#spamcop.net (replace # with @).

Hi i was wondering if anyone would be interested in a story called From Blackpool to Neath,the story is about the very last gas tram in the world,which might be from Lytham st Annes or from Trafford park Manchester,I know the where-abouts of the last gas tram and have some photos of the tram,the story was written by myself,i even took the story to the tram deport in Rigby road Blackpool.
